  Community Leadership Assignment

"I got involved because I had to (for class), but I stay involved because I want to."

McColl Student

The community leadership assignment would not be possible without the help of McColl Community Partners. The concept of the McColl Community Partner grew from an idea of Ms. Clarice Cato Goodyear. Ms. Goodyear volunteered to host students at board meetings of organizations in which she participates. To date, community leadership assignments have included students shadowing board meetings, researching community issues, participating in direct service volunteering and offering business solutions as requested by non-profits.
