Professional MBA Admissions

 

Admissions Policy:

The admissions policy of the McColl School of Business at Queens is designed to select students of outstanding promise. Since the student body is the most important resource, careful attention is given to each student. Applicants are considered on the basis of their individual achievements and merits.

 

Professional MBA applicants may apply for full-degree, post-baccalaureate, non-degree, or transient student status.  Information about each is provided below.  Please contact the Professional MBA Admissions office at 1.704.337.2224 or mba@queens.edu with any admissions questions.

 

 

 

Full-Degree

Status

 

Full-degree status is assigned to students who are pursuing a degree and who have met all admissions requirements, including a satisfactory undergraduate grade point average and an acceptable GMAT score.

International Students:  Due to INS regulations and the differences between the U.S. education system and other education systems around the world, full-degree international students typically need to provide additional documentation.

Post-Baccalaureate Status

 

Post-baccalaureate status is accorded for two terms only to those students who wish to take preliminary courses for the Professional MBA program but have not yet completed the GMAT requirement.  Post-baccalaureate status may not be available to some international students.

Non-Degree

Status

 

Non-degree graduate status is assigned to students who wish to take graduate courses for personal satisfaction but who may not wish to work towards a degree.  Non-Degree status may not be available to some international students.

Transient

Status

 

Transient student status is assigned to a student who wishes to take a graduate course for transfer to another institution.
